Murfreesboro police responded to threats reported at the University Ridge on Monday around 12:00 p.m.

The victim reported that her roommate’s boyfriend came to the apartment and the two began yelling at each other, which woke her up.

She reported that her roommate ran to her room and she let her in, locking the door behind her. The boyfriend then beat on the door until the victim informed him that she was calling the police, at which time the boyfriend responded, “I got something for you, b****!” and left the residence.

The victim reported that the side mirror of her vehicle was damaged after the incident, although she did not witness the boyfriend doing the damage.

The victim reported that she saw the boyfriend the following day, however, he did not make contact with her. She requested to move to a different apartment, but could not afford the fees to do so.

The boyfriend is reported to be possibly staying in the University Ridge complex, although he is not a resident.

No arrests have been made at this time.
