Murfreesboro Police responded to an armed robbery at the Shell gas station on Greenland Drive on Saturday at approximately 7:41 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with a gas station employee. The employee stated that a man entered the station and demanded the money in the cash register. The employee said that she laughed at the man, and the man then pointed a silver handgun at the employee. The employee then emptied the cash register and handed approximately $600 to the man. Shortly after, the man fled the scene.
