Murfreesboro Police responded to an unconscious individual at Chelsea Place Apartments on Bradyville Pike on Tuesday at approximately 5:13 a.m.

Upon arrival to the apartment, police made contact with the individual who awoke and resisted all attempts by the officers to calm her down. Police then detained the woman, and she attempted to resist detainment.

In plain view of the woman were four pills of Xanax in a small bag and less than a gram of crack cocaine. The woman was then transported to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office for booking. While in the sheriff’s office, the woman stated that she did not know how she arrived at Chelsea Place, and she believed she had been raped and wanted to be evaluated by medical staff. The woman was transported to Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital for evaluation.

Warrants on the woman were obtained for Simple Possession of Schedule II, Simple Possession of Schedule IV and resisting arrest. Detectives were notified of the incident and the Special Victims Unit then took over the investigation.
