East Main Street Man Robbed by Two Men and a Prostitute

A man was robbed at gunpoint in his Alder Terrace apartment at 2426 E. Main St. Friday morning by two men and a woman, according to a Murfreesboro police report.

Jesus Gonzalez-Dimas, 48, told officers through an interpreter that the woman, a prostitute he knew as “Amy,” knocked on his door around 8:30 a.m. When he answered his door, Amy, a white man and a black man pushed into his apartment.

The black man slapped him in the face with a black revolver, and forced Gonzalez-Dimas to lay on the living-room floor and not move.

They took a gold necklace, gold bracelet, a two-finger ring, a 47-inch flatscreen TV, a gray Sony laptop computer and a green digital watch made by Ovien, and $1600 in cash. Each piece of jewelry had the word “Martin” on it.

The three suspects then “fled by unknown means.”

Police are investigating further.
