FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) — A Halloween display featuring several effigies hanging from a tree in the yard of on-post housing has been taken down at Fort Campbell.

Post spokeswoman Rayna Holley says several people reported the display Tuesday and the resident was contacted and willingly removed the display.

The figures were hanging by ropes in front of a house with what would be their hands tied behind their backs.

Holley says the display was contrary to installation and community standards.
