Armed Robbery at Scarlett Commons Apartments

An armed robbery occurred at the Scarlett Commons Apartments on Friday around 7 p.m., according to a police report from the MTSU Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to building 1, where the victim stated he was located when he was approached by two subjects demanding he give them everything he had, while holding a black, semi-automatic weapon in his face.

The subjects took the victim’s backpack, which contained school supplies, as well as $30 from his wallet and his iPhone.

The first suspect was described as a “light-skinned” black male around 5 feet, 11 inches tall with multiple small tattoos on the sides of his face.

The second suspect was described as a black male around 5 feet, 8 inches tall.

The two suspects were reported to have left the scene heading towards the softball parking lot, but no arrests have been made at this time.
