American indie rock group Modest Mouse performed as one of the headlining acts for the 17th annual Voodoo Experience Music + Arts Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015.

The group played a solid 70-minute set on Altar Stage, the largest on the grounds, just as the sun was setting and the crowd really began packing in.

Having formed in 1992 in Issaquah, Washington, the group is known to have first broken into mainstream music in 2004 with the release of their fourth album, Good News for People Who Love Bad News. The album went platinum the following August.

The band released another album in 2007, We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, and did not release another, Strangers to Ourselves, until March of this year, 12 years later.
