Multiple people were injured in a shooting during a party at the Aspen Heights apartment complex on Sunday morning.

Witnesses said that a fight had broken out during a party, which led to a shooting, leaving  several injured.

Aspen Heights resident Deshaves Hagan, 21, said he was at the party when the shooting took place.

“I was at the house sitting on the porch…When I heard the shots I ducked down and next thing I know it had died down a little bit,” Hagan said. “Next thing I know you could hear it again and I ran around the house by the air conditioning vent.”

Hagan said he continued to run back to his house, which was near the location of the party, when he saw one of the victims.

“I was looking through the window when someone was like ‘I just got shot,'” Hagan said.

According to Hagan, there were multiple shooters and two people killed during the shooting, but a release from the Murfreesboro Police Department said that one person was seriously injured and four more received non-threatening injuries.

There are no known suspects at this time.
