This Friday, October 28, WMTS 88.3 Radio is hosting its fall benefit at Mayday Brewery from 8 p.m. to midnight.

The night will be filled with local beer, local music and a costume contest.

Rockers New Suede will join surf pop/indie rock outfit Moccasin Cowboy and R&B indie group Snake Cheney on stage at Mayday.

Winners of the costume contest will receive either a pair of tickets to see Phantogram at Marathon Music Works on Halloween night, or a pair of tickets to see Denzel Curry at Exit/In on November 22.

This benefit offers the perfect cheap plans for your Friday night; you can meet your favorite 88.3 DJs, enjoy a drink and hear some of the best up-and-coming bands in Murfreesboro.

The event is $5 at the door. All ages can attend, but you must be 21 with a valid I.D. to drink.

Doors open at 8 p.m. and music starts at 9 p.m.

All proceeds will go to support the radio station.
