Author Tracey Laird to Speak on Austin City Limits

Author Tracey Laird is set to speak on her recently published book Austin City Limits: A History in the Center for Popular Music on Wednesday.

The lecture is expected to discuss the history of the longest running music show on TV, it’s impact on popular culture over the last 40 years, including the annual Austin City Limits Music Festival and the show’s partnership with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The lecture will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the Center for Popular Music’s reading room in the John Bragg Mass Communication Building and is free and open to the public.
