Indie and Alternative music is kicking back into gear with upcoming concerts this spring in Nashville. Many artists had to postpone their tours because of COVID-19, pushing back tours months or even years.

Clairo is coming to The Ryman Auditorium on February 17 for her “Sling” tour, and tickets are still available, including seats close to the stage.

The Backseat Lovers are coming to Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville on March 2. Very few tickets are still available.

Billie Eilish is coming to Bridgestone Arena on March 9 for her “Happier Than Ever” tour. Only a few tickets are still available.

Briston Maroney is coming to Nashville March 19 and 20 at The Basement East. Tickets are still on sale on many sites, such as StubHub and Vivid Seats for his “Sunflower” tour.

Tame Impala is also coming to Nashville in March at Bridgestone Arena. Some sites still have tickets for his March 23 concert, but they are selling out fast. Many fans love the stage decorations and visual aspects of his concerts, making it a show to remember.

Still Woozy was originally set to come to Nashville in March as well, but he moved his tour dates back because of COVID-19. His date was moved to May 11 at Marathon Music Works. Some ticket sites still have tickets for his “If This Isn’t Nice, I Don’t Know What Is” tour.

Rex Orange County released tickets to his tour just last week. He will be preforming at Ascend Amphitheater on May 8 for his “Who Cares” tour. The full album releases on March 11, but one song from the album, “Keep It Up,” has already been released. Tickets are still on sale.

Glass Animals is preforming at Ascend Ampitheater on July 28 for their “Dreamland” tour. Tickets are still on sale.

Most music venues have pandemic precautions set in place, including requiring a negative COVID test or a vaccine card. Make sure to be prepared before the concert for these precautions.

Some popular venues to keep an eye on for indie concerts are Brooklyn Bowl, The Cannery Ballroom, Bridgestone Arena, Ascend Ampitheater, The Ryman Auditorium, The Basement East, and Marathon Music Works.

Many artists are reclaiming the stage, and Nashville is a hotspot for concerts. Keep up with your favorite artists to ensure you get tickets to their next show.
