Comedian Hannibal Buress will perform at MTSU’s Murphy Center on April 15, according to Raider Entertainment.

The comedian/actor has appeared on TV shows such as Broad City, 30 Rock, Bob’s Burgers and The Eric Andre Show, and released several standup specials. His latest special, Comedy Camisado, premiered on Netflix in February to rave reviews. Buress gained national attention in 2014 when a bit about the rape allegations against Bill Cosby went viral and resulted in numerous women coming forward with sexual assault allegations against Cosby.

The show will begin at 8 p.m. and is intended for MTSU students, faculty and alumni only. Students will be able to pick up free tickets at the Athletic Ticket Office inside Floyd Stadium starting Monday. Faculty and alumni will be able to pick up tickets starting April 4. No guests will be allowed.

This is the first time a comedian has performed at Murphy Center since Talking Dead and Nerdist podcast host Chris Hardwick performed there in the fall of 2013.

More information on the performance can be found here.
